great

This was over the top in so many ways... kind of exaggerated to the point where you think "sheesh"... well, some scenes were brilliant but some were kind of crap

The scene with the person hanging from the ceiling affected me the most.

And the one with the eyeball on the buildng, i thought that was original

w00t!

This is awesome. (and you put in that scene from the end of fight club, hehe).

Cool!

Reminds me of a video game i tried to draw in year 4.

:-)

Another Triumph!

As an independent reviewer with no affiliation to the teatons, I can confidently say that this amination was an artistic masterpiece. Not only was it humorously entertaining, but it also made my right kidney burst. reminds me of the good old days, when...

Okay I gotta go, anyway it's really good.

it's original

I mostly criticise animations for having no story, but that's only when it's something that needs a story. A violent matrix ripoff for instance, that sort of thing needs a story to stop me falling asleep, because fight scenes are so damn boring.

but this one actually works. two guys fall off a cliff. one says, "hey let's go to an unspecified building". other guy says "tick". they run to a hill instead. The End.

I thought that was cool. Even if it doesn't go anywhere, it just works. it doesn't have to mean anything and at least it's not a fad or a ripoff of some cartoon series.

Better than any animation I saw today, all the other new entries I saw were crappy 5-minute scenes of anime stick figures cutting each other up.

(and there's nothing wrong with your composition)

Nice fight scene, needs a story though

(why does it have to be medium quality? that's pretty daft)

other than that I thought the graphics were good, (the effects and so forth) but... there's no story to speak of, just the intro where you say " the world's fighting over resources" or something.

And at the beginning there was a brown inexplicable mass spreading everywhere. (what was that, anyway?)

About time too

Yeah, it's about time someone killed all those computer game characters, THEY'RE LIVING IN THE 60's, MAN!! :)

I kind of like Weebl and Bob, but I loved your sendup of them! (looked like the real thing)..

the music worked for me, I don't know what the other guy was talking about (is it streaming audio?)

MACception responds:

Yeah, it's streaming. And i agree, everything does have to die. And thanks for complimenting my weebl and bob. I did the best i could to make them look just like them. Sat there with the actual weebl and bob open right next to mine, and adjusted this and that for like 20 minutes. Thanks for the review.

Excuse me while i put on my tinfoil hat

(Does the name "christian ethics" insinuate something bad, hmm, let me think, well it's up to the person who reads it I guess) anyway...

Have you ever seen "Dr Strangelove"? It's got Peter Sellers in it.

This is a good story, anyway

ChristianEthics responds:

Hehehe, Yes i always thought it was a clever name- i get many comments ranging from 'So.. your religious, huh?' to 'Are you trying to be sarcastic?'

And yes i have seen Dr Strangelove, it was the inspiration for the name.

Boring. BOOOORIIIIING!!!

I've seen about ten animations based on video games (or cartoons, how the heck should I know), and they all bore me to tears.

I had to force myself not to blam this because of the great graphics and sound, and obviously you put a lot of effort into it, but... it's just my personal preference not to watch ten minutes of tiny characters beating each other up for no reason. It's BORING. (and unoriginal).

(I'd rather watch a crappy animation if it's funny or has an interesting plot). not too crappy though, otherwise it will hurt my eyes. :)

nice

I liked this... the menu was cool but a bit "busy" (I don't know how to explain it... like, too many numbers when it's loading, just have a little percentage bar or something).

That song's pretty awesome too... Is it legal to use other people's music in your work (even if you give credit)?... I mean, if it's illegal to download mp3, is it legal to use the same song in animation? (I know everybody does it but I don't know what the actual rules are, or if you need to give royalties). I think the owner of the copyright (i.e. the music industry) can stop you from using it if they want to.

Yaaah! (I dunno).
